The Bushcraft sun sail by yourGEAR is a lightweight, quick to set up and absolutely waterproof rain and sun protection with sun protection factor 50+ including sturdy ground pegs, tensioning lines made of webbing with metal carabiners and long, robust ropes.

The Bushcraft is versatile and can be set up in any conceivable way thanks to the many sturdy tensioning loops made of nylon webbing. It can easily be used as a shelter against rain and sun, as an additional roof over a tent or a hammock or as a camouflage for a camp in the woods and meadows. But also a normal use as sun protection in the garden, on the camping site, at the festival or other events nothing speaks against.

The camouflage tarpaulin is made of polyurethane-coated polyester and is absolutely waterproof with a 5000mm water column. To ensure waterproofness, an additional hydrophobic impregnation has been applied to the front in addition to the heavy PU coating, which ensures increased repulsion of water and dirt. At the same time, the tent cover protects against unhealthy UV rays with UV 50+ protection. The camouflage design consists of several shades of green. A matte color scheme was chosen for use as a camouflage net, which prevents reflections and mirroring of incoming light in the best possible way. Nylon webbing running along the outside of the tarp further reinforces the tarp.

The necessary accessories for setting up the tarp are included. Here, too, care has been taken to ensure that all materials are of very robust and durable quality. The fixing set includes steel pegs with a diameter of 7 mm and a length of 20 cm. The tent pegs have a thread and a plastic handle, so that they can also be screwed into hard ground like a screw. Furthermore, 2.5 cm wide and 240 cm long nylon guy ropes are included. These nylon straps have a loop at one end and a sturdy metal carabiner at the other, which is simply hooked into the selected guy loop. In addition, there are 5mm thick and 5 metre long tent lines which are equipped with an extremely sturdy 2 hole aluminium tensioner. The lines can be used as a ridge line to erect a gable roof, for example, or alternatively as an additional guy line.

Universally erectable
The 3 x 3 meter version of the Bushcraft Tarp has 29 guy points and a reinforcing webbing. 24 guy points are located at the edge and 5 run centrally across the tarp.

Waterproof Tarp
Waterproof, polyurethane-coated polyester with a 5000mm water column, UV 50+ protection against UV radiation and a matt, non-reflective colour scheme leave nothing to be desired.

Robust accessories
A very good tarp needs the best accessories. Included in delivery are 6 guy ropes 2.5 cm x 240 cm, 6 ground pegs ø 7mm x 20 cm and 2 tent lines ø 5 mm x 500 cm with aluminium tensioner.

Loops for tensioning
All tensioning loops of the sun sail are made of webbing. This webbing is made of a tear-resistant nylon and offers the best hold.

Reinforced guy points
The guy points running along the edge are reinforced, equipped with double-layer material, neatly sewn and secure the awning even in windy weather.

Guy ropes with carabiner
Tedious knotting of tent ropes? Not with our tarp. Here the guy ropes are hooked in quickly and easily with the help of a carabiner.

Technical details

Types of pitching
There are no limits to your imagination when it comes to pitching. The tent tarpaulin can be erected at ground level or as a free-floating roof. In any case, it adapts easily to the given location.

Saddle roof
In order to be able to set up the tarp as a saddle roof, guy points run centrally over the tarp. With the help of the thick tent ropes, the tarpaulin is simply suspended from these and tensioned to the sides.

Pack size
The sun awning and associated accessories are supplied in a robust packing bag. The transport bag measures 38 x 12 x 12 cm and weighs around 1500g with all parts.
