Rimini - free-standing awning for bus, van, vanilla and van with large living area, panoramic windows and UV 50+ protection.

The Rimini 300 by your GEAR is a light bus awning with a living space of 8.1m². The awning is freestanding and can be used without an attached vehicle.

The awning is ideal for all vehicles with a connection height between 180 and 230 cm. The bus awning can be attached to the vehicle in 3 different ways.

1. option - by means of a belt strap on the roof rails. The awning has adjustable webbing that can be attached to the roof rails of the car.

2. option - by guy ropes across the roof. Long guy ropes make it possible to fix the bus awning over the roof, on the other side of the car with tent pegs in the ground.

3. option  - by means of a lock pole. The docking sluice is equipped with a hemstitch into which the supplied sluice pole can be inserted. This can be fixed in a rain gutter provided on the vehicle. Alternatively, the sluice rod can also be fixed to the vehicle with suction cups, which have a corresponding holder for a sluice rod (sluice rod, clamps & suction cups are not included).

The living area (5.4m²) and the lock area (2.7m²) offer a total of 8.1m² living space and plenty of room for your furniture and camping equipment. The steep walls and the 200 cm high roof provide a comfortable standing height throughout the entire area. 3 large clear view panorama windows let a lot of light into the tent. The fourth panorama window, on the right in the front, is made of mesh fabric and provides an optimal supply of fresh air in addition to the view outside. All windows can be closed opaque. The large entrance area is covered and protects against rain. The practical side entrance on the right side of the tent allows direct access to the vehicle without having to cross the living area.

As awnings with a firmly sewn-in floor are not permitted on many campsites, the living area has a separate, tub-shaped floor and the lock area has a separate, flat floor. Both floors are easy to install and remove.

In the roof area 2 additional telescopic poles are mounted above the windows. These roof poles ensure perfect tension of the complete tent roof including the weather protection roof over the entrance area.

In order to facilitate the assembly, an illustrated and waterproof assembly instruction is sewn into the packing bag. The extra large transport bag ensures stress-free repacking of the awning.

The awning material has an above-average water column of 5,000 mm - all seams are sealed with a seam tape or covered waterproof. For special material protection, the awning is equipped with a high sun protection factor of UV 50+. This UV coating reduces material fatigue and at the same time protects people and material from excessive UV exposure. An additional, hydrophobic impregnation ensures increased water and dirt repellence.

Large living area

The bus awning has an 8.1 m² (5.4 living area + 2.7 m² docking sluice) large area for furniture and camping equipment. Steep side walls offer plenty of space and a comfortable standing height.

Practical side entrance

The side entrance allows direct access to the vehicle without having to cross the awning.

2 separate tent floors

On many campsites awnings with sewn-in tent floors are not allowed. For this reason, the tent floors of the Rimini can be laid separately for the living area and the docking sluice.

Freestanding bus awning

The bus awning is freestanding, so it can also be fully used without a vehicle. If the vehicle is needed, the sluice is simply uncoupled and the rear wall closed.

4 large panorama windows

4 large panoramic windows offer plenty of daylight. The right window of the front is made of mesh and is also used for ventilation - the others are transparent windows. All windows can be closed opaque.

Weather protection roof

The stable canopy over the tent entrance has a separate pole and offers the entrance area the best possible protection against rain.

UV & water column

The material is equipped with a 5000 mm water column and is waterproof. The upper side of the fabric is provided with a UV 50+ coating against UV radiation. It reduces the UV exposure in the tent and increases the protection of the tent fabric. An additional impregnation increases the hydrophobic effect and considerably improves the beading off of dirt and water particles - it also enables the awning to dry quickly.
