The Venecia by your GEAR is a true all-rounder.

As a gear tent with an extra-wide entrance, it provides additional storage space and reliable weather protection for bulky items such as bicycles, barbecues or drink crates. Thanks to the separate groundsheet included in the scope of delivery, everything stays clean and dry. The Venecia is also perfect as a functional kitchen tent. With the large mesh window and the two high-level vents, the tent is continuously well ventilated. The mosquito-net window can be closed from the outside with a zip-up cover that is opaque for privacy yet still lets light through – keeping the caravan bright and friendly even with a rear window. Set-up is child’s play and done in just a few minutes. Using the standard keder (7 mm), the tent is slid into the caravan’s awning rail. Two fibreglass hoop poles give the tent its shape – an internal crossbar provides the necessary stability. With the guying system, the awning is pegged to the ground and secured against wind.

Please note the available length of the awning rail and the level usable area at the caravan for set-up. With a keder length of 190 cm, the tent fits perfectly on caravans with a width of 250 cm. Set-up is also possible on vehicles with a width of 230 cm – please measure the awning rail length on your vehicle for this. If it is around 190 cm, set-up is no problem – even if the awning rail is only 175 cm. Only on caravans with pronounced body mouldings at the front must the minimum clearance of 190 cm be observed.

The attachment height is variable – depending on whether the vehicle is jacked up, it can be between 180 cm and 210 cm. The height can be adjusted precisely using the adjustable ground straps.

The awning is supplied with all necessary accessories. Included in the scope of delivery are awning, tent poles, groundsheet, tent pegs, guy lines, set-up instructions and a carry bag. The extra-large transport bag ensures stress-free repacking of the awning.

As a quality feature of our your GEAR tents, we use only selected materials: The rugged 150D tent fabric offers an above-average hydrostatic head of 5,000 mm – all seams are sealed with seam tape or covered to be watertight. For enhanced material protection, the awning is equipped with a high UV protection factor of UV 50+. This UV coating reduces material fatigue and protects both people and material from excessive UV exposure. An additional hydrophobic impregnation provides increased repellency against water and dirt.

UV and hydrostatic head

The base material is equipped with a 5000 mm hydrostatic head and is waterproof. The outer fabric surface is provided with a UV 50+ coating for protection against UV radiation. It reduces UV exposure and increases protection of the tent fabric. An additional impregnation increases the hydrophobic effect, significantly improves the beading-off of dirt and water particles and enables quick drying of the outer skin.

extra-wide entrance

Depending on your needs, the entrance door can be secured in 2 positions with toggle fasteners. The overlapping storm flap also protects the zip from rain.

rugged pole system

3 fibreglass poles with a diameter of 11 mm form the main frame. The internal crossbar provides the necessary stability.
