With our polypropylene weed barrier, you can save yourself this work in the future. The yourGEAR garden fleece is an extremely tear-resistant and UV-resistant woven fabric that can be used exposed or covered under soil, sand, bark mulch, gravel or paving slabs. The weed control fleece is versatile for use around the house and in the garden and provides long-term protection against unwanted weeds - all without the use of chemical agents!

In addition to its robust and UV-resistant material properties, the woven tarpaulin is manufactured so that water, oxygen and soil nutrients can penetrate the film. Waterlogging and rot processes stand no chance. The soil climate is thus permanently maintained and the moisture stored in the soil is protected from evaporation, so that flowers and plants can thrive perfectly.

Laying the ground cover is easy; you need neither prior knowledge nor a specialist. The film can be cut to the desired size with scissors; for a straight cut, you can use the green marking strips as a guide. These also serve as an orientation for positioning corresponding planting holes in the weed barrier.

The weed control fabric is available in various sizes: 10 m² in 10 x 1 metre or 5 x 2 metres, 20 m² with 10 x 2 metres, 50 m² with 50 x 1 metre or 100 m² with 50 x 2 metres. The basis weight of the anti-weed film is 100 g/m² for all sizes.

Material

The woven fabric consists of polypropylene with a basis weight of 100g/m² and is recyclable.

Cutting to size

Cutting to the required and desired size is easily possible with scissors.

Breathable

The garden fleece is breathable and permeable to air. The exchange of oxygen between the upper and lower soil layers is therefore no problem.

UV-resistant

For a long service life, the PP material used is protected against material-destroying UV rays.

Water-permeable

For a balanced water balance between the soil layers and to avoid waterlogging and the formation of rot, the garden film is water-permeable.

Application

The anti-weed fabric is universally applicable. It can be used under flower and garden soil, but also under bark mulch, gravel, sand, paving stones and patio slabs.
