The all-purpose mat consists of a dense, 4.3 mm high velour pile made of polypropylene fibres, which is also used for high-performance carpets in busy commercial properties and companies. The material is extremely durable, UV-resistant and colour-fast. Another advantage of this carpet fibre is its high absorbency, as well as its ability to store absorbed moisture and dirt. At the same time, the carpet fibre dries very quickly and is easy to clean.
On the back, the doormat is equipped with a non-slip vinyl backing. This offers safety in two aspects. Firstly, the mat lies securely and non-slip on the floor covering to be protected and unintentional slipping is prevented. Secondly, the back material of the doormat is completely waterproof, so that absorbed moisture and dirt can never penetrate through the dirt trap, onto the floor to be protected.
A rubber edge, the so-called leading edge, is present all around all mats. Even though the door mat, with a height of only 6 mm, is in itself extremely flat and fits under any door, the 1.7 mm thick rubber coating offers additional protection against accidental tripping. In addition, a bordered mat with a vinyl edge looks much better.
Even if it is sometimes a nuisance, it is inevitable that the mat will need to be cleaned every now and then. But this too is child´s play and can be done quickly. The doormat can either be beaten or vacuumed with a hoover. If it is very dirty, it can also be hand-washed at up to 30°C or rinsed in the shower or bathtub. Afterwards, just lay it out to dry for a short while and the doormat is nice and clean again and ready for a new use.

Care instructions
A complete cleaning of the mat looks as follows:
1. knock out - 2. vacuum - 3. wash (hand or machine) - 4. let dry.

- Thin profile! So that doors do not get stuck, the clean mat has a total of only 6 mm high and thus very flat profile. The vinyl underside is 1.7 mm and the carpet pile 5.3mm thick, whereby the pile fibers can absorb up to 2 liters / kilogram dirt
