The HDPE sun sail from yourGEAR is a lightweight and quick-to-assemble sunshade with a high sun protection factor.

The tarp is rectangular, finished in the colour grey and has a size of 300 x 400 cm. It is ideally suited for the patio, balcony, garden or when camping with a tent.

The sun canopy is made of 100% High Density Polyethylene (HDPE). The material is extremely tear-resistant, breathable and UV-stable. It is also permeable to wind and water. The breathable fabric prevents heat build-up, filters out 90% of UV radiation and provides appropriate shade. The basis weight is 180g/m².

The materials used are of very high quality, so that the sun sail can be used permanently from spring to autumn. The sun sail is an ideal shade provider and can easily be used as a replacement for an expensive awning or patio roof.

The concave cut transfers the occurring tension to the outside. The continuous sewn-in textile webbing absorbs these tensions and provides additional stability. For secure fastening, there are stainless steel eyelets at the corners, which are multi-stitched and firmly sewn.

For direct fastening of the tarp, 4 polypropylene ropes are included in the delivery. Each fastening rope is approx. 150 cm long. For fastening to a house wall or wooden posts, we recommend using our mounting set, which is specifically designed for this type of installation. We offer the HDPE tarp in 7 different sizes from 2.5 x 2.5 m to 4 x 5 metres. SHADE PROVIDER
The yourGEAR sun sail is the ideal shade provider for sunny summer days!

STAINLESS STEEL EYELETS
Rustproof eyelets serve as fastening points. They are bordered with webbing, multi-stitched and secure the tarp even on windy days.

DIMENSIONS
The rectangular sun sail measures 300 x 400 cm. The 4 fastening ropes have a length of 150 cm.

SETUP
The sail can be attached to trees, fences or poles using the ropes. For permanent mounting on a house wall or anchored posts, we recommend our mounting set.

MATERIAL
The sun canopy is made of a knitted HDPE fabric. This material is very UV-stable and therefore hardly becomes brittle. Nothing stands in the way of permanent use during the warm months.

REINFORCED HEM
The hem of the tarp is reinforced all around with a webbing. Occurring forces are directed outwards and compensated accordingly.

UV PROTECTION
The material filters out approx. 90% of incident UV rays. This makes the sun sail also ideal as sun protection for children.

BREATHABLE
No heat build-up! Warm, rising air can easily penetrate the material. A build-up of warm air, as occurs under an awning or a roof, is effectively avoided.

WATER PERMEABLE
The knitted material is water-permeable to prevent the accumulation of water and the formation of water pockets to protect against damage.
