The Desert 8 Pro from yourGEAR is a spacious tipi tent with a diameter of 395 cm and is ideally suited for 4 - 8 people.

The entire interior of the tent has a surface area of around 11.5 m² and offers plenty of space for a group or the family. The tent floor is tub-shaped and firmly sewn to the outer tent. The combination of 250 cm total height and 60 cm high side walls give this round tent a very pleasant and spacious feeling. In the front roof area there are 2 large clear windows that provide the living area with daylight. There are 4 semi-circular mosquito net windows in the side walls. All windows can be conveniently closed from the inside.

For optimal ventilation and fresh air supply, there are 3 permanent vents in the top of the tent. The weather-protected entrance area is erected with an A-shaped tent pole and is 160 cm high. The large front entrance is divided in two and has separate, internal mosquito net doors that can be used for additional ventilation. The use of a sewn-in tent groundsheet and Fine-Mesh fabrics in the windows, doors and vents means your tent is well protected against insects and moisture.

Practical inner tent pockets for small items such as mobile phones or glasses are also available. To make pitching easier, illustrated and waterproof pitching instructions are sewn into the pack bag. Both pitching and dismantling are quick and easy thanks to the central pole. An extra large transport bag ensures stress-free packing of the tent.

Desert 8 Pro 4 person sleeping cabin - With the help of the inner tent, you can easily divide the Desert 8 Pro into an enclosed sleeping area and a recreation area. The inner tent is made of a breathable TC blend of cotton and polyester, the sewn-in sleeping cabin floor is made of waterproof polyethylene. The PVC tent floor pan plus the PE inner tent floor thus offer double protection against moisture. Access to the sleeping area is provided by 2 large double doors. Each double door consists of 2 separate doors, an opaque screen door for privacy and a fine mosquito net door for ventilation free from insects and bugs. The sleeping cabin is 370 x 185 x 220 cm. Inside there are 2 closable ventilation windows to match the vents in the outer tent, as well as 3 inner tent pockets for things like keys, mobile phone or glasses. Easy to assemble! The inner tent is hung on the corresponding eyelets on the tent and on the centrally placed tent pole with the help of the sewn-on hooks. The sleeping cabin weighs 3 kg and comes in a Ø 20 x 60 cm pack bag.

Desert Pro Canopy - The canopy for the yourGear Desert Pro series has a size of 300 x 140 x 200 cm. Just like the tent, the canopy is made of a breathable TC blended fabric with cotton and polyester. The poles of the canopy are made of aluminium and have a diameter of 11mm. The tent can be set up quickly. The pole bend is inserted into the front part of the canopy. The rear end of the sun canopy is attached to the poles of the tent entrance. Now the rain canopy is set up and tensioned with the supplied tent ropes and tent pegs. The canopy offers protection against rain and sun and creates a large awning area under which you can sit protected from the weather or store various camping utensils. The weather protection roof weighs a total of 4.2 kg and is supplied in a transport bag measuring Ø 16 x 70 cm. In addition to the roof, the scope of delivery also includes the poles, guy ropes and pegs.

With 65% polyester and 35% cotton, this tent material combines all the positive properties of cotton and synthetic fibres. A very good combination for a long tent life. For special protection of the material, the outer tent is equipped with a special light protection factor. This UV coating reduces material fatigue and at the same time protects people and material from excessive UV exposure. An additional hydrophobic impregnation ensures increased water and dirt repellency. An anti-mould coating protects the material against mould stains. The scope of delivery includes the tent, poles, pegs, guy ropes, illustrated pitching instructions, care instructions and a sturdy pack sack.

The tent floor consists of a three-layer Tarpaulin material, with a mesh layer in the middle and 2 outer vinyl layers. This 3-layer material is completely waterproof and ensures a durable and permanently watertight floor.

UV & water column

The material of the outer tent has a high cotton content and is waterproof. The upper side of the fabric has a UV-protective coating to protect against UV radiation. This reduces UV exposure in the tent and increases the protection of the tent fabric. An additional impregnation increases the hydrophobic effect and significantly improves the beading off of dirt and water particles. An anti-mould finish protects the material against mildew stains
