As a garden lover, you know it, the tiresome topic of weeds and the gardening work associated with them. Weeding is time-consuming and often a never-ending story! With our polypropylene weed barrier you can save yourself this work in future. The yourGEAR garden fleece is an extremely tear-resistant and UV-resistant tape fabric that can be used lying open or covered under soil, sand, bark mulch, gravel or paving slabs. The weed fleece can be used in many ways around the house and in the garden and provides many years of protection against unwelcome weeds, all without the harmful use of chemicals!

In addition to the robust and UV-resistant material properties, the fabric tarpaulin is manufactured in such a way that water, oxygen and soil nutrients can penetrate the film. Waterlogging and rotting processes have no chance. The ecological balance of the soil is therefore permanently maintained and the moisture stored in the soil is protected from evaporation so that flowers and plants can thrive.

Laying the soil foil is easy, you need neither prior knowledge nor an expert. The foil can be cut to the desired size with scissors, for a straight cut you can use the green marking strips as a guide. These also serve as orientation for positioning the corresponding planting holes in the weed barrier.

The weed film is available in different sizes with 10 m² in 10 x 1 metres or 5 x 2 metres, 20 m² with 10 x 2 metres, 50 m² with 50 x 1 metres or 100 m² with 50 x 2 metres. The weight per unit area of the anti-weed film is 100 g/m² for all sizes.

Breathable

The garden fleece is breathable and permeable to air. The exchange of oxygen between the upper and lower layers of soil is therefore no problem.

Water-permeable

For a balanced water balance between the soil layers and to avoid waterlogging and the formation of rot, the garden film is water-permeable.

Application
