Magnetic Drive Away Kit from your GEAR - the simple solution to attach awnings or sun sails to the vehicle!
You own a bus, van or other car and want to attach a tent or awning to it on holiday and find that there is no keder strip available? With the Magnetic Drive Away Kit we offer you the simplest solution to this problem - without gluing, without screwing and without time-consuming assembly work.
The 3 meter long and 17 cm wide keder strip is magnetic and is simply placed on the car roof. The 10 built-in magnetic plates are 9 cm wide, 5mm high and adhere securely to the roof panel. With the help of the 4 plastic couplings, the keder strip is connected to the keder of the awning. The coupling is designed for 7 mm piping. If a free-standing awning is used, the vehicle can be quickly and easily decoupled and is available for trips at any time.
To prevent scratches to the vehicle roof, the magnetic plates are enclosed in a protective cover made of Oxford polyester. Sewn to this sheathing are 3 loops to which additional guy lines can be attached and stretched across the car. Appropriately long tent lines are required for this additional storm protection and are not included.
When not in use, the magnetic keder rail folds up to save space. The packing size is only 75 x 17 x 4 cm, so that the rail can be easily stored in the vehicle or garage.
