Sand filter system SFP PRO 6813 - a robust sand filter pool pump for summer bathing fun in crystal clear water

A good pool pump is indispensable for unadulged cooling in the garden pool. A pool filter not only protects against algae and dirt particles, but also against bacteria, viruses and fungal infestation. The swimming pool pump with sand filter is the best solution for this and works very simply. The pump pumps the water into the filter tank, which contains quartz sand as filter material. This filter sand cleans the water and the pool pump pumps the clear water back into the pool. Compared to a pool pump with filter cartridge, a sand filter pump offers a much higher cleaning performance, the water becomes cleaner. In addition, the maintenance effort and the costs for the filter material are much lower.

The SFP Pro 6813 sand filter pump is IPX-7 protected, has a pump capacity of 8000 L/h and a filter capacity of 6813 L/h. It is ideally suited for pools with a capacity of up to 30 m³. The pool pump is powered by 230 V electricity and the motor delivers 350 watts of power. The filter tank offers a filter surface of 580 cm² and is filled with quartz sand (not included) with a grain size of 0.4-0.8 mm. One filling with quartz sand is enough for the whole season. Both 32 mm and 38 mm pool hoses can be attached to the pool pump, 3 hoses with 32 mm diameter are included. A pre-filter for coarse dirt is also installed.

The sand filter system is controlled by the 6-way valve. The 6 settings are:

- Filter (water flows through the sand filter, is cleaned and returned to the pool)

- Circulate (water is only circulated, not filtered and returned to the pool)

- Backwash (water flows backwards through the filter, cleans the filter material and is discharged through the outlet into the garden)

- Rinse (after backwashing, rinse, (after backwashing, the filter sand is rinsed to allow it to settle, water flows normally through the sand filter but is discharged through the outlet into the garden)

- Drain (water flows out of the pool directly through the outlet)

- Closed (all openings are closed, water cannot flow in any direction). IMPORTANT: only switch the 6 way valve when the pump has been disconnected from the power supply! For safety reasons there is no on/off switch, instead the plug must be removed from the mains socket.

Furthermore, the swimming pool pump has a pressure gauge that shows the pressure inside the pump. The green area shows that the sand filter is clean and there is optimal filter performance. If the pressure indicator rises into the yellow / red range, the filter material must be cleaned by backwashing, then the indicator drops back into the green range.

Scope of delivery
Apart from the quartz sand, the scope of delivery contains everything you need to put the sand filter system into operation. Three 32mm hoses for the connection to the pool are also included.

6 way valve
The special multifunctional valve allows easy handling and control with all important functions: Filter, Circulate, Backwash, Rinse, Drain, and Closed.

Pressure display
Shows the current pressure in the sand filter and the associated degree of contamination of the filter material. This allows you to see when it is necessary to backwash the filter.

Hose connection adapter
The transparent hose connections allow you to see when the water becomes clear again during backwashing and the sand filter has been sufficiently cleaned.
