yourGEAR picnic blankets have a cosy soft top side, an insulating and cushioning middle layer and a waterproof and protective underside.
Whether it´s a trip to the beach, a barbecue in the park or a romantic picnic for two, you´ll enjoy these moments even more with our practical blanket. This picnic blanket is a real alternative to normal blankets, which are often heavy and bulky and offer no protection against moisture or cold from the ground. A combination of 3 lightweight materials provides a remedy.
The top of the beach blanket is made of a soft and skin-friendly fleece. If necessary, the surface can be cleaned quickly and easily with a cloth and a little water. Sand, dirt and dust do not stick and are easily removed by shaking it out.
The middle layer of the camping blanket mainly serves to insulate against rising cold from the ground, but also has a light cushioning effect. The material of this thermal insulation layer consists of a 2mm thick EVA foam.
The underside of the picnic blanket is a thin aluminium layer. This layer is absolutely waterproof and protects the blanket from moisture and wetness from below. So damp grass or wet sand are no problem.
The materials used are all very light, so that the underlay weighs only 950 grams in total. For transport and storage, the blanket is folded to a compact size. A flap with a Velcro fastener sewn onto the edge ensures that the blanket does not unfold again. The handle is also attached to this flap, with which the blanket can be carried comfortably.
