The Sun Blocker Capri from your GEAR is an awning attachment that is pulled into the vehicle awning´s keder rail. The front wall construction made of shading special fabric offers protection against strong sunlight and increases privacy.

The front wall is suitable for all common awnings on motorhomes, camper vans, or caravans. The awning wall has 3 sewn-in keders with diameters of 7.0 mm, 6.2 mm, and 4.3 mm. The installation is done by pulling the keder into the front panel of the awning, which usually has a mounted keder rail with the appropriate diameter. After the wall has been pulled in, the 4 robust tension straps are anchored in the ground with tent pegs. The setup is quick and easy in just a few minutes. It can be done on any awning, regardless of the height at which it is mounted on the vehicle.

your GEAR offers the Sun Blocker Capri in 6 sizes, each differing in the width of the protective wall. The available widths are 240 cm, 280 cm, 330 cm, 370 cm, 430 cm, and 480 cm. The height of 200 cm is the same for all models. Thus, we offer the right front wall for almost all awning widths. If the width of your awning is between our offered dimensions, we recommend choosing the next smaller size. The quick setup also makes the front wall ideal for short stays.

The attached mesh fabric provides shade and also offers some wind protection. The fabric provides about 60% shading. The material is completely air-permeable and transparent. You can see through it and observe what is happening around you. Additionally, the wall increases the stability of the awning as it acts like a tensioning system, additionally securing the extended vehicle awning in light wind.

To tension the wall, 4 long and robust nylon tension straps are used, which are inserted into the front wall and are infinitely adjustable. 4 V-profile tent pegs made of steel anchor the wall securely in the ground. All tension points are reinforced and double-stitched.
