Our your Gear XXL rectangular sleeping bag Sumatra offers comfort and great features. Extra-warm, double-layer sleeping bag with removable hood section and 100% cotton flannel lining. The sleeping bag is ideal for camping, caravanning or festivals. With a total length of 230 cm and a width of 100 cm, it is also suitable for tall people. 

The durable outer material has a water-repellent finish and is quick-drying. The sleeping bag fill stands out thanks to its special hollow fibre, as it is extremely lightweight and has excellent loft. The high-quality insulation achieves top values in thermal performance. The comfort temperature range for this trekking sleeping bag is +10°C, the limit range is +6°C and the extreme rating of the risk zone is -7°C. The ideal value for sleeping in a relaxed position is the comfort range. A definition of the respective temperature values is provided further down. 

The 100% cotton flannel lining feels very pleasant against the skin and is beautifully soft. The hood section is removable via a zip and is also equipped with a pillow pocket. This pocket can hold a pillow or, alternatively, soft clothing as a head rest. 

A thermal zip baffle prevents cold spots where heat could escape. The 2-way zip with auto-lock allows separate ventilation of the feet. The anti-snag zip guard fitted along the zip prevents the fabric from getting caught in the zip teeth when opening and closing. The sleeping bag can also be fully opened and used as a blanket. Inside the sleeping bag there is also an inner pocket with hook-and-loop fastener for valuables and care instructions. The rectangular sleeping bag is equally suitable for adults, youths and teenagers.

Removable hood section

The hood section can be detached from the sleeping bag using a zip.

Pillow pocket

The pillow pocket holds a pillow or, alternatively, soft clothing as a head rest.

Inner pocket

Thermal zip baffle and anti-snag zip guard

The padded zip baffle prevents cold spots. This keeps the warmth inside the sleeping bag. The snag guard prevents the fabric from catching in the zip.

2-way zip with auto-lock function

2-way zip for opening from the top and bottom. It allows separate ventilation of the foot area. The auto-lock function prevents the sleeping bag from opening by itself due to movement during sleep.

The T-ext temperature value indicates the temperature limit at which a standard woman (25 years, 60 kg, 1.6 m) in a curled-up position can withstand cold stress for a limited period of max. 6 hours. In the risk range, strong cold sensation is to be expected. There is a risk of health damage due to hypothermia.
