The Lido 290 – a compact, lightweight pyramid tent with sewn-in groundsheet and all-round insect protection.

The compact, practical-cut Lido 290 tipi tent from your GEAR is ideally suited for up to 2 to 3 people.

The entire interior of the tent offers around 5.5 m² of space, providing room for sleeping and useful storage in the corner areas. The groundsheet is bathtub-shaped and permanently sewn to the flysheet. The total height of 200 cm provides ample headroom. Practical inner pockets for small items such as a phone or glasses are also included. For optimum ventilation and fresh air supply, there are 2 permanent vents at ground level and a vent at the top of the tent. Thanks to the use of a firmly sewn-in bathtub groundsheet and fine-mesh fabrics in the door and vents, your tent is superbly protected against insects and moisture.

To make pitching easier, an illustrated, waterproof pitching guide is sewn into the carry bag. Both setup and takedown are very easy and quick thanks to the central pole. An extra-large transport bag ensures stress-free packing of the tent.

The tent features an above-average water column of 5,000 mm – all seams are sealed with seam tape or covered to be waterproof. For special material protection, the flysheet is equipped with a high UV protection factor of UV 50+. This UV coating reduces material fatigue and protects both people and material from excessive UV exposure. An additional hydrophobic impregnation ensures increased repellence of water and dirt.

The groundsheet features double-sided lamination of the PE floor fabric – ensuring a durable, permanently watertight base.

The inner mesh door can also be used as an additional large-area vent. The fine-mesh fabric reliably protects against insects.

UV & hydrostatic head

The carrier material is equipped with a 5000 mm hydrostatic head and is waterproof. The outer side of the fabric is provided with a UV 50+ coating for protection against UV radiation. It reduces UV exposure inside the tent and increases protection of the tent fabric. An additional impregnation increases the hydrophobic effect and significantly improves the beading of dirt and water particles – it also allows the tent to dry quickly.
