To achieve the ideal effect, the weight of a therapy blanket should be approximately 8 - 12% of the person's body weight. your GEAR weighted blankets are available for adults in size 135 x 200 cm with a total weight of 9 kg for persons weighing 75 - 115 kg, or 6 kg for persons weighing 50 - 75 kg. The weighted blanket for children measures 100 x 150 cm, weighs 3 kg and is perfectly suited for children weighing 25 - 40 kg. A weighted blanket is not suitable for children under 3 years / 36 months.

The adult and child blankets are both manufactured in standard sizes. In addition to being used as a throw, lounge blanket, or sofa blanket, the standard dimensions also allow them to be used with standard bed linen and thus as a regular duvet.

The blanket is made of pure cotton. It consists of a total of 7 layers. The middle layer consists of small glass beads, enclosed by a soft fleece and a dense microfibre fabric, and wrapped in the outer cover. The filling is durable, hypoallergenic, and odourless. To ensure even weight distribution of the glass beads, the blanket is quilted in a diamond pattern.
