The Ravello 500 - Your perfect family tent with a huge living/sleeping area, sewn-in groundsheet, and all-around insect protection.

The Ravello 500 from your GEAR is a spacious tipi tent with a diameter of 5 meters, ideal for 6-8 people.

The entire interior space of the tent covers an area of around 18 m² and offers plenty of room for a group or family. The groundsheet is bathtub-shaped and firmly sewn to the outer tent. The combination of 300 cm total height and 60 cm high sidewalls gives this round tent a very pleasant and spacious feeling. There are 2 large clear windows in the front roof area that provide daylight to the living area. The sidewalls feature 4 semicircular mosquito net windows. All windows can be conveniently closed from the inside.

Optimal ventilation and fresh air supply are provided by 4 permanent vents at the tent peak. The weather-protected entrance area is erected with an A-shaped tent frame and is 150 cm high. The large front entrance is divided and has separate, inner mosquito net doors that can be used for additional ventilation. Thanks to a permanently sewn-in groundsheet and fine-mesh fabrics in windows, doors, and vents, your tent is well protected against insects and moisture.

Practical inner tent pockets for small items like phones or glasses are also available. To make setup easier, a pictorial and waterproof setup guide is sewn into the packing bag. Both setup and takedown are very easy and quick thanks to the central support pole. An extra-large transport bag ensures stress-free packing of the tent.

The tent skin has an above-average water column of 5,000 mm - all seams are sealed or waterproof taped. For special material protection, the outer tent is equipped with a high UV protection factor of UV 50+. This UV coating reduces material fatigue and protects both people and materials from excessive UV exposure. An additional hydrophobic impregnation ensures increased water and dirt repellence.

The tent floor has a double-sided lamination of the PE ground fabric - this ensures a durable, permanently dense floor.

UV & Water Column

The outer material has a water column of 5000 mm and is waterproof. The fabric surface is coated with UV 50+ for UV protection. This reduces UV exposure inside the tent and increases the protection of the tent fabric. An additional impregnation increases the hydrophobic effect and improves the beading of dirt and water particles significantly, also allowing for quick drying of the tent.
