The chlorine granulate SL is quickly soluble and acts immediately against bacteria, viruses and fungi in the swimming pool water. It also breaks down organic turbidity and impurities in the pool water.

The granulate consists of small pressed balls. It can be used in all water hardnesses, dissolves completely and without residues. The chlorine granulate does not leave any deposits, which also prevents the filter system from clogging.

The granulate comes with a high active chlorine content, is completely pH-neutral, free of lime and has a stabilizing effect on the water. The yourGEAR chlorine granulate has a shelf life of around 5 years.

Application Chlorine granulate SL
A prerequisite for effective chlorination is the adjustment of the pH value to 7.2 - 7.4. yourGEAR offers the pH-Plus or pH-Minus granulate for this purpose. The chlorine granulate should be added directly via the skimmer. Alternatively, the chlorine granulate can be dissolved in advance with water in a bucket or watering can and added to the pool water. Do not add the granulate directly to the water!

We recommend the following dosage based on a pool capacity of 10m³:

- shock chlorination: 37 g weekly as a supplement to continuous disinfection
- super shock chlorination: 68 g for initial filling and against visible algae
- 18 g increase the chlorine content by 1mg/l

The chlorine content (DPD 1) should be between 1 and a maximum of 2 mg / litre. In case of high bathing activity, a lot of rain, long-lasting high temperatures or the formation of slippery deposits in the pool, more frequent and higher additions up to double the amount are necessary to keep the chlorine content stable between 1-2 mg/L.
