your GEAR AlgenEx - algaecide concentrate, foam-free algaecide for clear pool & swimming pool water in 1 L or 3 L container to choose from
The AlgenEx is a liquid, highly concentrated, foam-free and long-term algaecide. The algaecide the to kill existing algae and prevent further algae growth.
In addition to preventing and eliminating algae, the algaecide also helps remove and prevent turbidity. AlgenEx does not contain chlorine.
AlgenEx can be used in all water hardness levels, dissolves completely without leaving any residue, does not foam and does not leave any deposits.
A correct pH value and the correct chlorine content in the water are important and the basic prerequisite for effective and satisfactory care of the swimming pool water. Values that are too high or too low affect the effects of the care product.
Application AlgenEx
The prerequisite for effective care of the pool water is a correctly adjusted pH value, which should be between 7.2 - 7.4.
The product can be added directly to the pool water, preferably close to the water inlet to ensure good mixing.
Dosage:
- for prevention: 80 ml at the beginning of the season, then weekly 60 ml per 10m³ water
- in case of visible algae: adjust ph-value, carry out shock chlorination, add 200-300 ml AlgenEx per 10m³ water. Let the pump run for 1 hour, then stop for 2 hours
In addition, we recommend the use of a flocculant, as this removes the food from the algae. yourGEAR offers appropriate flocculants for this purpose.
