Coconut fibre plant soil is natural, unfertilised, peat-free, fungus-free and germ-free - perfect for sowing, raising and cultivating all kinds of plants, and the practical tubular planting bag makes a flower pot superfluous.

Coconut fibres provide a well-aerated soil substrate of the highest quality. The fibres from the coconut shell are completely peat-free, unfertilised and, thanks to their water-retaining properties, ensure healthy root growth. The pressed fibres are ideal as seed compost, humus for sowing, but also for mixing with potting soil. When mixed with potting soil, the coconut substrate loosens up the normal plant soil. For sowing and raising plant seedlings and flower sprouts, we recommend using pure coconut shell soil.

Due to the loose and moisture-regulating properties of the coconut fibres, roots are optimally supplied with oxygen and moisture. The roots can develop better and grow faster, and the root ball no longer hardens as much as a result of watering. The maintenance effort is noticeably reduced by using coconut coir soil.

Each of the 2 kg blocks is packed in a practical elongated bag in which the coconut fibre potting soil is mixed directly with water. To be able to pour in water, you must first cut some holes in the top of the bag. The size of the holes should be adapted to the size of the plant to be planted, and the distance between the holes should correspond to the optimum planting distance for the plant. After the swelling process, the 100x20x15 cm bag is filled with loose and pure coconut seed compost. The use of a flower pot or other planters is not necessary. The coconut soil consists of coarse and fine fibres. An ideal soil substrate for growing flowers and vegetables. The advantages of the coarse soil lie in the high air porosity, which helps to allow free aeration and efficient drainage. The fine coconut soil is denser and retains more water. Both varieties are already mixed and provide an ideal growth medium for young plants. Depending on the water requirements of the planted crops, the bag can be provided with small holes for drainage. For repotting, the film is simply removed and the sprout is planted at the desired location together with the coconut soil.

The soil has a pH value between 5.5 and 7. During production, the fibres of the coconut shell are freed from all germs, fungi and pests by adding heat. This ensures that young plants can thrive optimally.

Other garden soils and potting soils are often mixed with too many mineral nutrients. For many plants, this nutrient supply is too rich. This is exactly where the particularly low-nutrient and unfertilised coconut soil comes in. Design your seed compost exactly as your plants need it. If necessary, add the required fertiliser via the plant water and thus create the best growth basis for herbs, vegetables, ornamental plants, fruit, trees and shrubs.

The soil is completely free of peat, therefore purely plant-based and of 100% natural origin. In its pressed and dehydrated form, the seed compost is particularly light, easy to transport and can be stored for a long time to save space. Dragging heavy and unwieldy bags of potting soil is therefore a thing of the past.

Using yourGEAR coconut soil is incredibly simple:

Provide the foil bag with holes on the top according to the planting distance and required size. Initially add around 8-10 litres of water. The block now begins to soak up water; it goes a little faster with slightly warm water. After a soaking time of a few minutes, further break up the potting soil block, mix it through and, if necessary, add a little more water. The soil swells up to a maximum volume of around 25 litres, the tube is then fully filled. From this volume onwards, the swelling process is complete. Of course, more water can be added after the swelling process. The seed compost stores the water, thus becomes moister, but no longer swells. Depending on the plant type and growth, fertiliser can already be added via the water and the required degree of moisture can be set. The plant soil is now ready for planting.

Universally applicable indoors & outdoors!

For sowing and raising, the coconut soil should be used pure. This generally applies to all types of plants you grow and breed. If you want to produce your own soil substrates, coarse and fine coconut soil can be mixed together as desired, depending on the required porosity. In addition, up to 50% compost or classic potting soil can be added to the coconut soil. Coconut potting soil is the excellent and natural substitute for peat. It loosens the root ball and prevents hardening through watering. Coconut soil is an ideal growth medium and perfectly adjustable to the soil needs of all plants.
