Product information "yourGEAR 50 Coco Disc Plus cocos tablets with cover growing potting soil unfertilized peat-free"
yourGEAR 50 premium coconut coir pellets with or without fleece cover (purely vegetable) to choose from. Coconut pellets with 3 cm diameter.
yourGEAR coco tabs pellets - our coconut fiber plant soil is natural, unfertilized, peat-free, fungus-free and germ-free - perfect for sowing, growing and cultivating plants of all kinds.
Coconut fibers ensure a well-aerated soil substrate of the best quality. The fibers from the shell of the coconut are completely peat-free, unfertilized and, thanks to their water-retaining properties, ensure healthy root growth. The pressed fibers are ideal as seed-starting soil, humus for sowing but also suitable for mixing with potting soil. Mixed with potting soil, the coconut substrate loosens up normal plant soil. For sowing and raising plant seedlings and flower sprouts, we recommend using pure coconut shell soil, as it is already present in our pellets. The pellets are ready for planting immediately after swelling.
Due to the loose and moisture-regulating properties of the coconut fibers, roots are optimally supplied with oxygen and moisture. The roots can develop better, grow faster and the root ball no longer hardens so much due to watering. The maintenance effort is noticeably reduced by using coconut coir pellets.
You have the choice of whether the pellets should be encased in a shape-giving, root-permeable fleece or not. Both variants have their advantages. Pellets with fleece do not require any further flower pots or cachepots. The pellets can be lined up next to each other. The high shape is determined by the cover and is ideal for deep-rooting plants. The fleece can be penetrated by roots and the pellet is transplanted completely, including the fleece, when repotting.
The pellet variant without a fleece cover is often used when planting seed trays, sowing plates or propagator boxes. After swelling, the pellet can be brought into the desired shape. This is often the case for shallow-rooting plants that need more width for ideal rooting.
The coconut soil consists of coarse and fine fibers. An ideal soil substrate for raising flowers, herbs and vegetables. The advantages of the coarse soil lie in the high air porosity, which helps to allow free aeration and efficient drainage. The fine coconut soil is denser and stores more water. Both types are already mixed and provide an ideal growing medium for the young plants. For repotting, the plant sprout is planted with the complete coconut coir pellet at the desired location. This makes pricking out the plant completely unnecessary.
The soil has a pH value between 5.5 and 7. During production, the fibers of the coconut shell are freed from all germs, fungi and pests by adding heat. This ensures that young plants can thrive optimally.
Other garden soils and potting soils are often mixed with too many mineral nutrients. For many plants, this nutrient supply is too rich. This is exactly where the particularly nutrient-poor and unfertilized coconut soil comes in. Design your seed-starting soil exactly as your plants need it. If necessary, add the required fertilizer via the flower water and thus create the best growth basis for herbs, vegetables, ornamental plants, fruit, trees and shrubs.
The soil is completely free of peat, therefore purely vegetable and of 100% natural origin. In its pressed and dehydrated form, the sowing soil is particularly light, easy to transport and can be stored in a space-saving manner over a long period of time. Lugging heavy and unwieldy bags of potting soil is therefore a thing of the past.
The application of yourGEAR coconut soil pellets is incredibly easy:
Place the pellets in a tray. Fill the tray with water to a height of approx. 2 cm. The pellet now soaks itself full and begins to swell. After approx. 5 minutes, the pellet is fully swollen. Of course, a little more water can be added after the swelling process. The seed-starting soil stores the water, thus becomes wetter, but no longer swells. Depending on the plant species and growth, fertilizer can already be added via the water and the required degree of moisture can be adjusted. The plant soil is now ready for planting.

Universally applicable indoors & outdoors!
For sowing and growing, the coconut soil should be used pure. This generally applies to all types of plants you grow and cultivate. Coconut potting soil is the excellent and natural substitute for peat. It loosens the root ball and prevents hardening through watering. The yourGEAR pellets are an ideal growth medium. They are unfertilized, nutrient-poor and can therefore be perfectly adjusted to the needs of all plants through the coordinated addition of required nutrients.
Pricking out unnecessary
For repotting, the young plant is transplanted with the complete pellet. Tedious pricking out is completely eliminated.
Fine and coarse coir soil pre-mixed
The coarse-grained and fine-grained coconut soil is already pre-mixed and forms a perfect soil substrate for the young plants.
Green thumb
With coconut soil, sowing vegetables and herbs is child's play. The seeds are kept continuously moist by the uniform water release of the coconut fibers. Low maintenance - best results!
Space-saving and long shelf life
You receive 50 pellets - optionally with or without a shape-giving fleece cover. The pellets have a very long shelf life in a dry and dark environment.
